No club has reason to celebrate more than Fenerbahce in 2007, and they showed that they can throw a party as well as they play sports. Fenerbahce treated their fans to a "Parade of Stars" on Friday at Sukru Saracoglu to celebrate the 100th year of Fenerbahce Spor Kulubu.
According to the club, the celebration had been in the works for more than a year and featured Italian, Spanish, and French artists. The show was designed by famed Italian artist Valerio Festi and was a visual and audial vehicle showcasing the glory of Fenerbahce and its tradition drenched with history and success. The show featured pyrotechnic displays, as well as dancers and various visual and musical artists. Each branch of the club was prominently featured, and fans were able to relive the emotion and passion of the many championships the club achieved in its centennial year. Basketball, volleyball, table tennis, and ofcourse futbol were celebrated by global performers providing a feast for the senses of Fenerbahce fans.
Despite the grand celebration over the weekend, Fenerbahce isn't finished partying. More festivities are lined up for later this summer and throughout the year, as Fenerbahce remembers the past, revels in the present, and anticipates its great future.

Special thanks to my good friend Serkan Sahin, who was in attendance and provided me with these great photos.
