After the successful signing of Roberto Carlos, Fenerbahce may not be finished dealing with Real Madrid. TribalFootball.com reports that Fener is interested in Real Madrid defender Ivan Helguera. The website states that Fenerbahce reportedly had representatives in attendance to watch Real Madrid vs. Real Zaragoza recently.
The move, if true, may be an attempt to replace Stephen Appiah should Glasgow Celtic or Schalke make a bid for the Ghanian defender. Stay tuned for more details.

Rumor has it that Besiktas is seriously interested in Helguera. As far as Appiah is concerned, there is a possiblity that Fenerbahce may use him as an exchange player plus money to transfer Trezeguet (currently valued at 18 million Euro) from Juventus.
