Valencia Deny Interest in Aurelio

A report issued today by Goal.com indicates that Spanish side Valencia have denied interest in bringing in a new midfielder during the January transfer window. Last week, Valencia had been linked with interest to Fenerbahce and Milli Takim midfielder Mehmet Aurelio.

Aurelio is one of the longest-tenured Fenerbahce players. The Brasilian-born star acquired Turkish nationality two years ago and took the Turk name "Mehmet" in the process. His experience in the midfield for both Fenerbahce and Turkiye's national team has been widely praised, and his departure from Kadikoy in the near future is highly unlikely.
