Are Fenerbahce Looking at Another Goalkeeper?

Are Fenerbahce Looking at Another Goalkeeper?
By Nathan L. Redd

According to a report by Clubcall, Fenerbahce is one of several large clubs evaluating the services of Bolton Goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen. The Finnish star has been with English side Bolton for ten years, but his contract ends at the end of the curren season and speculation is that he'll leave the club.

Arsenal, Manchester United, Inter Milan, and Fenerbahce are the teams listed in the report as being interested in the 32-year-old Jaaskelainen. Fenerbahce's long-tenured goalkeeper Rustu Recber left at the end of last season, and starting goalkeeper Serdar Kulbilge has been injured for most of this season. Volkan Demirel, who had been heavily criticized in the past, has improved his game and has put many Fenerbahce fans at ease with his performance this year.
