According to the Fenerbahce website, Brazilian star Alex de Souza has arrived in Istanbul and reported for training. Alex missed the entire preseason camp due to an injury that was discovered at the beginning of June. He just signed a new, two-year contract with Fenerbahce at the end of the 2006-2007 season in May. It was believed that his injury may have been worse than originally thought, but he has reported and took part in training on Wednesday. Fenerbahce has not yet released a timetable for Alex's return to competitive action.
