According to media reports, Ghana star Yusif Alhassan Chibsah, pictured above on the far left, has agreed to terms with a Turkcell Super Lig team and some reports indicate that team may be Fenerbahce. Ahmet Turgut reports on his website turkishsoccer.com that Chibsah is signing a two-year deal. Chibsah reportedly did a telephone interview where he confirmed that he was signing with a Turkcell Super Lig team, but he declined to name the team because he said the deal was not complete.

Reports out of Ghana state that Chibsah was on the wishlist for at least six European teams. The reports indicate the deal is "about 90% complete."

The 23-year-old midfielder was captain of the 2004 Ghana National Team at the Athens Olympics. Chibsah is currently playing in Israel. It remains to be seen if Chibsah will join his Ghana teammate Stephen Appiah at Fenerbahce.
