Fenerbahce Announces Friendly vs. Shakhtar Donetsk

Fenerbahce announced on Monday that they have secured a friendly against Ukranian side Shakhtar Donetsk. Shakhtar will travel to Sukru Saracoglu to play the game on 28 July. Gametime has not been announced yet.

Shakhtar Donetsk finished second in the Ukranian Premier League last season. Their manager is Romanian Mircea Lucescu. Like Fenerbahce, they boast a roster full of Brazilian players, with six hailing from Brazil on the current roster. The Ukranian Premier League is already underway, and Shakhtar has played two games so far. They have four points in two games, picking up three of those on Saturday with a 3-0 win over Naftovic FC.
