TFF Announces 2007-2008 Fixtures

The Turkish Futbol Federation unveiled the 2007-2008 Turkcell Super Lig fixtures Monday morning. Fenerbahce will kick off the season the weekend of August 10th against their newest cross-town rivals. Istanbul Buyuksehir Belediyespor will get quite a welcome to the Super Lig against Fener in their opening game. Istanbul B.B. was one of the newest promotions to the Super Lig and will host Fenerbahce in their Turkcell Super Lig debut. Fener's first home game will come the following week when they host Gaziantepspor at Sukru Saracoglu.

Fenerbahce will get another newly-promoted side in week four as they travel to Ankara to take on Genclerbirligi OFTASSpor. In week ten, Fenerbahce will play another new cross-town rival when they travel across the Bosphorous to take on Kasimpasa. The first derby of the season comes one week later when Fenerbahce plays host to Besiktas. Four weeks later, Fenerbahce will play Galatasaray in the first of their meetings at Sukru Saracoglu. The first half of the season closes out two weeks later when Trabzonspor comes to Kadikoy. Besiktas will host Fener at Inonu Stadium in week 28, and four weeks later will be the second meeting between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce at GS. Fener closes the season by traveling to Trabzonspor in week 34.
