Is Ilhan Parlak Joining Fenerbahce?

According to published media reports out of Turkiye, Kayserispor striker Ilhan Parlak is set to join Fenerbahce on a transfer this week. The New Anatolian reports that Ilhan will sign with Fener this week, after being pursued by Galatasaray and Besiktas. According to the media outlet, Parlak will arrive in Istanbul on Friday for medical examinations and his transfer fee is expected to be approximately 1 Million Euros per year.

As reported previously, Fenerbahce has been waiting on a decision by the Turkish Futbol Federation regarding the foreign player limit. It is widely believed that Fenerbahce hopes to bring in additional foreign transfers, but cannot do so until the TFF announces its decision on the rule. Parlak is Turkish and would not count in the foreign player limit.
