Former Canary Okocha Coming to USA

Nigerian and former Fenerbahce midfielder Jay-Jay Okocha appears to be headed for America to continue his futbol career. Okocha, who played for Fenerbahce from 1996-1998, is expected to sign a deal with American Major League Soccer side Real Salt Lake.

Okocha has over 70 caps with his Nigerian national side and has scored 15 goals. He has appeared in three World Cups, and won a gold medal in the 1996 Olympics. The soon-to-be 34-year-old made 63 appearances for Fenerbahce during his tenure, scoring 30 goals.
