Bolton, Everton Interested in Edu Dracena
By Nathan L. Redd
English clubs Bolton Wanderers and Everton are reportedly interested in Fenerbahce defender Edu Dracena, according to the website Club Call. The site reports that Bolton Manager Sammy Lee is interested in Edu after losing Tal Ben Haim to Chelsea recently. The site indicates that English rivals Everton are also interested in Dracena.
Edu was one of the less-heralded signings of 2006, but his play on the pitch attracted the attention of several other European clubs, as well as his native Brazilian National Team. It is widely known that Fenerbahce must let one of its non-Turkish players go, but the speculation has been that player would be Stephen Appiah or Deivid de Souza. Fener has not wanted to part with Appiah and Zico recently stated his confidence in Deivid, so Edu could be on the move for the right price. Fenerbahce has yet to confirm or deny any speculation regarding Edu Dracena.

i don't think fener is going to sell him at this moment he is one of the best playets in ore team at his possesion
he plays really good with Lugano near him..
nope - don't believe this one for a second - the Lugano/Edu partnership is just beginning to bare fruit - I think everyone could see this from the end of the season last year. I think they will load Edmar out again.
Actually, I don't believe this. It was, however, a bit of a slow news day...:)
I really, really don't want to see Appiah go, though.
