Fenerbahce Must Look Ahead and Prepare for Denizli
With the frustration and anger of the disappointing loss behind them, Fenerbahce must now look ahead and focus on the task ahead. There will be no Fortis Turkish Cup this year, but the Turkcell Super Lig is still in reach and Fener controls their own destiny. Zico and his staff have a difficult task of seeing how the players will respond to the BJK loss. Will they sulk and continue with the frustration of the horrendous officiating? Will they become even more motivated to win the Super Lig and prove that the Turkish Futbol Federation cannot stop them? We will know on Sunday.
The Denizlispor Roosters visit Sukru Saracoglu Stadium at 19:00 on Sunday (12 Noon EST in the U.S.). Besiktas is the only other game on Sunday. The Black Eagles and their toilet-destroying fans travel to Sivas on Sunday. Kickoff for that game is 15:00 (8 AM EST in the U.S.). With the derby between Fenerbahce and Besiktas coming up next week, points are crucial for both sides this weekend.

Nathan, you seem like a nice guy?
Why & how can you support a team like Fener?
They are a total disgrace to Turkish soccer, the way the team and management behave is shameful.
Look at recent events!
I have been to many football grounds around Turkey and while I agree that Fener has a wonderful stadium the rest is very below par.
Keep on the good work and I as a Cimbom fan hope that you you come 3rd in the league and represent Turkey in the UEFA Cup as you waste a Champions league spot every year for a Turkish team.
Alex
I like the fact "you seem like a nice guy" has a question mark at the end.
OZ Kanka it seems that little passes by you!
I am sure Nathan is a nice guy but is obviously on some form of mind altering drugs given his comments on referring. So far no post on the weekends game but I cant wait to see who's fault this one was as FB got the penalty this week.
You guys are all cracking me up....
Alex, I'm a Fenerbahce fan, so ofcourse I am a nice guy....:)
Nathan, when I look to these comments, I see a great example of Turkish-style of match-talk.
Whenever Fenerbahce lose a game, Turkish forums overflow with comments from the supporters of other teams. They are always on the alert to mock Fenerbahce.
However, whenever Fenerbahce wins, there is no trash talk. Because we know that we are against whole other teams, while they feel all together. We just celebrate.
So that is "the greatness of Fenerbahce."
Now Fenerbahce is the champions and the rest will be silent until next August.
