Club Reiterates No Interest in Roberto Carlos

Fenerbahce reaffirmed their previous statement on Friday that they have no interest in Real Madrid's Roberto Carlos. The club issued an official statement, saying "Today it was rumoured that Roberto Carlos has signed a contract with Fenerbahce. We want to stress that this rumor is completely false and our club is not interested in Roberto Carlos right now."

Now it's May 15th. And the latest news from tomorrow edition of my newspaper, Hurriyet, says:

"Fenerbahce Board has sent a message to Roberto Carlos, 'ordering' him to stop talking about a possible move. Spanish daily Marca suggested that the contract will be signed this week."

Personally, I like Roberto Carlos, but I don't want Fenerbahce to pay a lot for him, 'cause he's old now. Although I agree that we have a promising young talent, Ugur Boral, as well as our captain Umit Ozat as a left back, we still need a world-class player in this position for a Champions League success...
