Match Day: Turkiye vs. Bosnia-Herzegovina

Match Day: Turkiye vs. Bosnia-Herzegovina

The long road to EURO 2008 qualification comes to an end on Wednesday. Turkiye's Milli Takim has provided no lack of drama as their fate comes down to the final game in Istanbul. A win puts them through to the tournament; a loss or draw will have them needing help from Malta to advance.

Bosnia heads into the match enduring a slump similar to what the Turks have gone through in recent months. They've already been eliminated from EURO 2008 qualification, but Fuad Muzurovic says the Bosnians won't give up without a fight. He told reporters earlier this week "I watched Turkiye's win against Norway on television and it was an extraordinary game. The Turks played their best when it mattered most and justified their favorites' tag alongside Greece. Turkiye are definitely stronger than us, but we won't surrender."

Bosnian captain Zvjezdan Misimovic told reporter this week "Turkiye are inspired by their win in Oslo, but we will try to play as well as we can and get the best result we can, but it's impossible to predict the outcome. The match in Istanbul on Wednesday will be tough."

Turkiye and Bosnia-Herzegovina will kick off at 21:00 (2 PM EST in the U.S.) on Wednesday from Ali Sami Yen Stadium in Istanbul.
