Fenerbahce knows how to throw a party, and this has never been evidenced more than this year, the centennial celebration for the club. With a parade of events that began earlier this year, Fenerbahce has now started a "super-marathon" race from Moscow to Istanbul to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the club. The super-marathon, which is organized by Fenerbahce, has started in Moscow's Red Square with the participation of President Aziz Yildirim and Turkey's Moscow Ambassador Kurtulus Taskent. Twenty-four athletes from Russia and Turkiye begin their long run beginning in Moscow and leading all the way to Istanbul. One of the later pieces of the centennial celebrations, the run will conclude in 18 days.
