Match Day: Turkiye vs. Romania

Turkiye's "Milli Takim" will take the pitch on Wednesday for the first time in over two months as they begin preparations for more Euro 2008 qualifying. Turkiye is in Bucharest, Romania for a friendly vs. the Romanian National Team. The game will take place at Lia Manoliou Stadium in Bucharest at 21:00 (2 PM EST in the U.S.).

Earlier on Tuesday evening the squad finished their final training session. Despite being a friendly, the match is a crucial game for Turkiye as they will begin more Euro 2008 qualifiers in the coming weeks. Fenerbahce will be represented by Tumer Metin, Marco "Mehmet" Aurelio, and goalkeeper Serdar Kulbilge. Former Fenerbahce star Tuncay Sanli will also be on the roster.
