Fenerbahce, Kocaelispor Draw 2-2

In their last preseason friendly of the summer, Fenerbahce and Turk Telecom Lig A side Kocaelispor finished in a 2-2 draw. Fenerbahce received goals from Deivid de Souza in the 9th minute and Ugur Boral in the 52nd minute to go up 2-0. Kocaelispor, however, came roaring back with goals from Hamza in the 66th minute and Umut with 10 minutes remaining to finish 2-2.

Zico's starting eleven was Serdar Kulbilge, Onder Turaci, Can Arat, Edu Dracena, Roberto Carlos, Deivid de Souza, Deniz Baris, Mehmet Aurelio, Ugur Boral, Alex de Souza, and Mateja Kezman. The game was played at Fenerbahce's Samandira Training Facility.

Fenerbahce will now turn their attention to Sunday's Turkish Super Cup match against rivals Besiktas in Cologne, Germany. Kickoff is slated for 21:00 (2 PM EST in the U.S.).
