Van Gaal: "Fenerbahce Will Be Afraid of Arveladze"

Speaking to the media prior to today's game vs. Fenerbahce, AZ Alkmaar manager Louis Van Gaal commented on the return of striker Shota Arveladze to the AZ lineup. "We have our best player back," he said. "He had a good record in Turkish football [when he played for Trabzonspor] and I think Fenerbahçe will be a little afraid of Arveladze."

Van Gaal went on to say "I realise that it is possible that we can lose," said Van Gaal. "They have Kežman back and a number of other players. Fenerbahçe have players who can decide a match on their own. They did that last week, as they converted our 1-3 lead in a 3-3 draw."
