Deschacht: "Eliminating Carlos Would Be Wonderful"

Anderlecht Captain Olivier Deschacht spoke with team fansite Purple Dynamite recently and discussed his thoughts of their draw with Fenerbahce, as well as playing against the legendary Roberto Carlos. "I thought we played well against Lokeren last saturday. We only lacked the finishing," Deschacht told Purple Dynamite. "We will be ready. We always perform better when we're put under pressure. Fenerbahçe is a team that attacks, it'll be a completely different game."

Deschacht said the team was disappointed when learning they would play Fenerbahce, but the captain was looking forward to playing against Roberto Carlos. "Of course we were disappointed, we could've drawn a much weaker side. But I'm looking forward to the game nonetheless. We're playing against Roberto Carlos, one of my idols. Eliminating him would be wonderful," Deschacht told Purple Dynamite.
