Fenerbahce Ready for Kayserispor

Week 27 of the Turkcell Super Lig kicks off tonight, and league leaders Fenerbahce travel to Kayseri tomorrow for a crucial game. With only eight Super Lig games remaining, Fenerbahce currently sits six points up on second place Besiktas. Fener is hoping to avoid the late-season meltdown from a year ago, and the players are certainly pleased that they have their destiny in their own hands. However, huge rivalry games with Galatasaray, Besiktas, and Trabzonspor still await the Canaries on the schedule. Kayserispor will be a tremendously difficult game for Fenerbahce. Kayseri currently sits in fourth place with 4o points, only five points back of Galatasaray. However, only six points seperate them from 12th place Gaziantepspor. Kayseri is fighting for one of the coveted European spots at the top of the table, and a win against the league leaders would be huge for the Central Anatolians.
Fenerbahce and Kayserispor kick off at 16:30 (11:30 AM EST in the U.S.) on Saturday. Friday's only league game will see Galatasaray play host to Erciyesspor. Besiktas is also home on Saturday, hosting Caykur Rizespor.
