Fortis Turkish Cup Resumes
The Fortis Turkish Cup resumes this week, and already a flurry of upsets have thrilled fans across Turkiye. On Tuesday, Galatasaray was eliminated from the cup following a 1-1 draw vs. Kayseri Erciyesspor. Earlier today, Besiktas fell 2-0 to Vestel Manisaspor and Gaziantepspor and Trabzonspor finished in a 1-1 draw.
Fenerbahce will resume Fortis Turkish Cup play tomorrow vs. Genclerbirligi in Ankara. Kickoff is set for 20:00 (1:00 PM EST in the U.S.). Fener will look to get back to good form after a disappointing start to the second half of the Super Lig season and elimination from the UEFA Cup.
