The Genclerbirligi Perspective

The Genclerbirligi Perspective
By Nathan L. Redd

Our good friends at The Round Ball in Ankara have a website that covers news and on-goings with Ankara teams Genclerbirligi and Ankaragucu. Like myself, they are also non-Turks who love Turk futbol (I'm not the only strange one).

The Round Ball in Ankara is also completely in English. To check out their perspective on Sunday's Fenerbahce opponent, visit their site at http://ankarafootball.blogspot.com/

well, maybe you should....:)

Just kidding. As you know, it's hard to find English content on the Super Lig so it's good that our fans know about you guys too.

A thanks from me too for the plug Nathan.

Your blog is going great guns and you have done a great job in making it a world wide site to visit for Fener Fanatics !

As we have said many times, ours is more 'tongue in cheek' but we also receive hits from all over the world.

Hope you guys receive a 'favourable' draw in the next round of the Champions Cup !

All the best from Eski Kanka the Ankaragucu Fanatik

You're quite welcome. FW is more of a news blog, but I enjoy reading yours. And like I said, any English content on the Turkcell Super Lig is good for everyone.

Best of luck, my friends.

Did I just note a postive comment from Sir Eski Kanka about Fenerbahce?

Just wait until Maniac Kanka Harun hears about this.

Yes yes and yes. Oz Kanka can tell the world and I am quite prepared to face the wrath of Maniac Kanka !!!

We must always try and see the BIG picture as far as YooRo Footie goes and Fener is now not only playing for their club, but for Turkey !

ANKARAGUCU has aspirations for YooRo footie to return to Buyuk Baskent and Fener are slowly but surely building points for Turkey.

Keep it going you Canaries !!!

Thank you Nathan. As you know, we ANKARAGUCU fans are renowed throughout the footie world for our friendship, fair play, and we abhor footie hatred and hooliganism !!

Writing this in the morning WITHOUT Christmas spirits (should have Oz Kanka laughing and spluttering into his Castlemains Four XXXX) !!!
