Kezman Promises More Success Ahead

Kezman Promises More Success Ahead
By Nathan L. Redd
Fenerbahce striker Mateja Kezman has been heavily criticized this season for his lack of goal-scoring to open the Turkcell Super Lig campaign. Despite the fans' ire, the Serbian star is confident he will turn things around this year. Kezman spoke with Fenerbahce TV recently and told fans to expect better things in the future. "Those who love me and Fenerbahçe will see a better Kezman from now on. There is an important proverb in our country -- what goes wrong will end someday. I was red-carded despite the fact I did not deserve it. I will have those who love me and Fenerbahçe view a better Kezman.”
The much-criticized forward has been under enormous pressure this season for a lack of offensive production resulting in a disappointing domestic start for Fenerbahce. Kezman will miss the next Turkcell Super Lig match next weekend vs. Konyaspor at Sukru Saracoglu.
