Fenerbahce Arrives in Izmir

Fenerbahce arrived in Izmir on Thursday, one day ahead of their Turkcell Super Lig game vs. Genclerbirligi. The game will be played at Izmir Ataturk Stadium on Friday, February 2nd. Kickoff is 20:00 local time (1 PM EST in the US).

Fener is looking to pick up three points in the standings and hopefully distance themselves from rivals Galatasaray and Besiktas, who are moving closer to the Yellow Canaries. Fener defeated Genclerbirligi in a Fortis Turkish Cup game on Tuesday by a score of 2-1, with the winning goal coming in the final moments from Semih Senturk.
